To be clear, with ENORMOUS amounts of perseverance and patience, it is rare that we can't fix a customer's issue and make it work for them.

But we charge like, ยฃ2 a month for VoIP, and it's just a fucking nightmare to handle the support burden. And nobody really thought of this, and BT Group has been allowed to get away with it.

There was something elegant and hassle-free about two wires, and nobody realised.

It's not all BT's fault. They are entitled, as any commercial company is, to withdraw a product from sale with adequate notice, and they have given LOADS of notice. I do feel the regulator ought to have stepped in, though, and really analysed the problem more fully, and perhaps mandated some stuf...
