incidentally there are ways to control this risk
1) better air filtration in hospitals
2) masking in hospitals
3) testing in hospitals
4) contact tracing and actually treating sars2 as the identifiable disease it should be treated as
5) (longer term) building smaller hospitals

the larger the hospital the more likely nosocomial infections will be spread in it. building super large hospitals might be good for a bunch of other efficiency reasons but it is terrible for covid

Hospitals were called "pesthouses" back in the day for good reasons. Nothing has changed.
