What would you expect to get out of 6 weeks, 1 hour of 1 day (6 hours), of an intro to crochet/beginner crochet class as a kid? I'm leaning toward something flat because round things are hard. I'm reaching for the stars and thinking a granny square shrug, but I think more realistic is a potholder 🤔. Maybe a seamed hat. Maybe just start with a granny square and let them go... I'm assuming they'll have no idea what they're doing.

This is a pretty cool idea. I honestly do not know that my kids, when they were still kids, would have been able to sit and crochet for more than maybe 10 minutes. A case! Like a simple square then folded and you add a zipper. Then kids can put all ther color pencils into it. I think I made one at school when I was 9 around years old.
