I have invited a small handful, but they eventually lost interest. Most of them were Facebook people, so I guess Nostr felt a bit like an empty void when most of their friends were still elsewhere.

I also think the whole relay thing can be a little too complicated to feel comfortable with at first. And then there are zaps. 😅 On top of that, I think some people are discouraged by the fact that posts can't really be deleted or edited. Every “mistake” feels permanent.

That said, I believe the people who understand why Nostr matters will find their way here sooner or later.

I still use Facebook to reach people who already support my music, but I really look forward to the day when Nostr becomes a more established alternative.
