We recently completed two excellent sessions with our Cohort 9 students focused on the technical side of #Bitcoin, led by
@npub1337xx... .Our students gained a deep understanding #Bitcoin transactions , from broadcasting to checking details on @nprofile1q... and finally grasping the mechanics of mining.

The best part was a fun game organized by D++ where students competed to find the nonce for a reward! In total, 18 students walked away with 47,000 sats in rewards. It was a fun and successful session, co-hosted by @nprofile1q...

We had a great session yesterday covering part two of Chapter 6, "Introduction to Bitcoin." @nprofile1q... presented on the main players in the Bitcoin network, including the miners, nodes, users, developers and projects, clearly highlighting the function of each. We are looking forward to finishing the Introduction to #Bitcoin tonight!

We're excited for the final session of Chapter 5, "How Problems Lead to Solutions." We will first cover the consequences of the fiat system and the global debt burden. Following that, we will introduce the cypherpunks and their quest for a decentralized digital currency, including a comparison of centralized and decentralized systems, and a brief history of digital currencies. @nprofile1q... t from @nprofile1q... will lead this session, which will be co-hosted by @nprofile1q...

We had a great session this evening where @nprofile1q... from @npub17cyat... led a wonderful discussion on "How Problems Lead to Solutions." We focused on Monetary Inflation and its effect on Purchasing Power. A key point we learned is that the fiat system impacts people's psychology by causing a high time-preference—a focus on short-term gains instead of long-term planning.

We are now looking forward to seeing how #Bitcoin is the solution to these issues. The session was co-hosted by

Yesterday's session, led by Pacharo from @npub1t4ljw...
and co-hosted by @FelixMukungu ,was a great introduction to Fiat Money and Who Controls It. We covered a brief history of the fiat system, detailing the formation of central banks, the Bretton Woods system, and the pivotal "Nixon shock" of 1971. We are happy to continue this important discussion next Tuesday, where we will build on these problems in traditional finance to introduce #Bitcoin as a solution, bringing us one step closer to the main introduction.

We had a great session covering the History of Money!

We discussed the evolution of money—why older forms were left behind for newer ones that better met the needs of the market. It was important that @nprofile1q... emphasized that money does not originate from governments, but rather arises out of the market process.

We focused on the 'Double Coincidence of Wants' problem during the barter system, which led to the discovery of commodity money.

We are looking forward to talking more about the History of Money tonight!

Our core mission is to create Bitcoin awareness through education, content creation, and community building. We've seen great success with our main initiative, #BitcoinEducation, and we are also committed to building a strong #BitcoinCommunity through our second project, Bitcoin Githurai.

Recently, following our Cohort 8 graduation (with the physical ceremony scheduled for #Bitcoin Unconference #004), we organized a small trip to
Bitcoin Githurai. Some of the graduates joined The Core team, and the visit was a fantastic success. It was inspiring to see the energy of young people building with #Bitcoin. Notably, our entire core team consists of graduates of The Core, and their skills are already proving essential in the Bitcoin space.
