Shopify paused any 'new' payment gateway applications about 2 years ago and haven't yet opened up that process again. We're hoping they will soon.
Existing services like OpenNode and IBEX etc. are grandfathered in.

Yes, once they open up the app store to payment apps we'll be in right away.

It's not possible with Zaprite to convert BTC to fiat, or vice-versa. We don't have any exchange facility. Whatever currency the payment is made in, is generally what arrives in your wallet (BTC) or bank account (fiat).

Hey, you can connect any self-custodial node or even a custodial wallet like Strike. No need to have a website, you can use our Payment Links to accept payments for a Product.

Zaprite can definitely help here. If it's WooCommerce, we have a plugin. If it's a custom site, we have API and webhook service. Many options to choose from when it comes to wallet/node integrations.
