Gun to your head and you had to pick one single sig hardware wallet to switch to, which would it be and why?
In this moment I think that diversification of security is actually a better mindset. That can be splitting funds across 2 or 3 vendors or for the tech savvy it could mean multi vendor multisig.
I also think that a year from now the best options will be ones that have been heavily hardened by AI audits of their codebase that are publicly verified and patched. Right now it's early days of that process.

why is coldcard being dismissed? if you generate your own keys it should be perfectly fine...

This past week was a nightmare and forced me to reexamine a lot of my assumptions and threat models. Two topics bubbled to the top alot that I thought warranted videos... so I got to work.
How do you use dice to generate your own entropy when creating keys? This video uses dice and the @SeedSigner to accomplish just that, while verifying using an external tool.

Hey! I'd much rather be referred to as a cunt than a pleb, thank you very much.
But yeah, the term has zero appeal to me, especially when you have folks who are clearly absolutely minted referring to...
The funny thing about this is that this term must be VERY jurisdictionally sensitive. I've been to Bitcoin events around the would and this is the first time I've ever heard of someone being offended by it. In fact many conferences have attendees organize side events called pleb parties - including European ones. There was just a pleb party in Prague 2 weeks ago.
Here in Canada the word is so mundane that it would be similar to someone calling you bud or dude, or at worst a light hearted self deprecating reference to being less affluent.

I can’t believe bitcoiners are using the word “pleb” to describe themselves.
It’s such an incredibly derogatory word, only Brit’s who grew up in the 80s truly understand this.
That's kind of the point though. It's a recognition that the fiat elites believe they are above everyone, but bitcoiners take insults and wear them as a badge of honor so they lose their power. Plenty of examples of this.
