Actually, there IS a possible strategy that's not pants-on-head retarded.

Israel goes around to every country and tells them this: Jews are your problem, but they're our solution. If you will recognize us, trade with us, and let us buy military gear from you, we will take all of your Jews.

In Europe, that pitch would resonate. In the US, less so, but antisemitism is on the rise so in the next decade, it will probably have a chance.

It's a gamble, but most countries are lazy and do the easiest thing that's in front of them.

Let Israel take care of it. I've been told that their military is hot shit and their intelligence agency knows everything years before they even happen!

They wanted to transition Iran into a war posture so that there would be no sense in ever making a peace deal with the US, so that the US could never back out (without destroying the empire).

I think there's some kind of theory that though the US will lose, Iran will be sufficiently weakened that Israel will be able to conquer the territory for their Greater Israel Project.

To be frank, I do not understand the logic here. It looks like they're more likely to vanish off the map than they are to achieve Greater Israel - but it's possible there's no actual strategic logic and it's just eschatology...

Which, if a guy believes that at the last moment when it's the final true believers surrounded in the bunker about to be smoked out - that's when God comes down and smites their enemies... Well, there's not much you can say to argue with him...

That might be AN issue, but I think the bigger issue is that Iran is on war footing now, so if the US turns tail and runs, there's no reason why they shouldn't be willing to keep fighting - i.e. invade Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, and even KSA.

If the US runs, and then Iran invades Iraq, what does the US do - stop running and go back and fight again? There's no reason why fighting them in Iraq is going to go any better than fighting them in Iran.

So the US is bleeding out holding a domino because once they let go, all of the dominos start falling - and it ends with the entire middle east becoming an Islamic empire.

Sounds like the whole thing is kinda copium for the imperial administrista.

If you say "US loses this one, then loses the gulf, and the petrodollar, and the empire, and then you lose your job", it might be true, but it's kind of a downer.

If you say "just gotta move a number over on a spreadsheet, we've got this!" then people read it and feel good...

Europeans are a combination of weak men who come from a very long run of good times, and go along to get along with the globohomo doctrine (which really originates in DC).

The Trump/Israel team really hate the EU, because the EU is unified, they support Palestine, and they support the Democrats in the US. So they're doing whatever they can to break up the bloc.

The EU is pivoting to a more rational approach - like recently formalizing a deportation process - because what they can't afford is Trump/Israel sponsored "far right" candidates exiting their countries from the bloc so they can be chopped up and sold off...

His take is actually not that bad. We Need doesn't mean it's gonna happen, it's just wishing.

And I think he's right that if the US had that kit, they'd have a chance. Now the fact that that kit doesn't exist, and SEEMS like it probably violates physics so NGMI.

But I think his stratigic analysis is fairly good, it's just that science and tech doesn't cooperate.

Yeap. There's something, the millimeter protester-be-gone ray. Then you've got laser welders, which if you're close to the target they can do something. But distance is a bitch.

They're claiming this is an actual photo (not slop). RAND has a pretty good reputation so I tend to concur...

But you can see from the picture, that's not a whole lot of distance. If you're got a hypersonic coming at you, by the time you can shoot it there's no question that it's going to hit. And then you have the question of the power supply - probably massive. So you can put it on a ship, but you can put a C-RAM on a ship and that's basically a next gen C-RAM...

Professor Chinaman discussed this quite a bit. Shock and Awe was really NOT supposed to work (in 2003), all of the military planners said it will not work, but the president's top guys pushed for it, and they tried it on Saddam and it WORKED, incredibly fantastically well...

So they kind of got drunk on it, but the thing is, Iraq is a desert, so anything that's not flat sand is a potential target. And also Saddam thought (for whatever reason) that the US would NOT attack him so he made no preparations.

Iran on the other hand has been planning for an apocalyptic end-times war against the US, for, 40 years. And unlike Iraq, Iran is a mountain fortress. They've been planning to deal with Shock and Awe doctrine, so AFAIK the US has moved away from it.

And as far as why there isn't better video of the bombings they DO do, perhaps the issue is that it has become quite difficult to get video without getting shot down by an infrared targeting MANPAD.
