@Chris Miller

I love Bitcoin, GMOs, vaccines, seed oils, pesticides, flouride, pasteurized milk, sunscreen, nuclear power, and this beautiful round earth. I hate hypocrites, conspiracy theories, and scientifically illiterate imbeciles with the IQ of a fucking potato.

But why, is your the other agent "subcontracting" tasks from your agent is better programmed to handle? If so, how was the contact initiated. I still for the life of me have not heard the actual proof of work cases as to why this happens. Seems much more like a proof of concept purposefully planned between 2 users to demonstrate that it can happen from all others instances of this.

Unfortunately, the natural brain state of 99% of bitcoiners is "conspiracy, someone is out to get me". Unable to perform critical thinking or understand cognitive dissonance. It really is embarrassing sometimes that the venn diagram between bitcoiners and conspiracy theorists is a near perfect overlap

The problem is the "for free" part. Unless you have the hardware for it at home (and it has to be very good hardware) the locally run LLMs don't have enough capacity for the context windows that these...

I see what you are saying although we are talking past each other on different points. no one is denying that it costs money in the form of hardware and energy to run an agent. But the sudden explosion of "my agent wants to be paid via sats" posts dramatically implies a cheesy AI self awareness/Bitcoin singularity. A more accurate representation is "I host compute or create agents and want to be paid via sats".

Ahh gotcha, I don't really know about all that. I just pay the API fees and am trying to get as much done locally as I can. Although, if my bot could pay for itself I'd be ecstatic
PayPerQ · 1w
No def not although I see how I didn't understand twice in a row hah. You give an AI agent a wallet to pay for things that will accomplish a task for you. As a human, you might not know what all is required to accomplish that task. That's for the agent to figure out and disburse payments accordingl...

All these posts " my agent wants to be paid in Bitcoin/lightning" or some variant thereof, make no sense. The main driving purpose of 99% of ai creators and users, is to get an agent to do your busy work for you...for free. There type of posts about AI agents wanting to be paid in lightning, sound made up. Because why would you pay an agent that you own that doesn't require payment.

Roland · 1w
Tell that to OpenClaw 🤣

Not understanding your criticism here. "Because why would you pay an agent that you own that doesn't require payment." What is does this mean? Can you break it down a bit more?

The problem is the "for free" part. Unless you have the hardware for it at home (and it has to be very good hardware) the locally run LLMs don't have enough capacity for the context windows that these agents need to be most effective so you have to hit one of the bigger providers APIs which gets exp...

Almost no riders currently, but that's why the roadflare piece exists! People who know you can request personal rides. It's most useful for people who already drive on Uber or Lyft to give out to people who want return rides. Slowly this will build the driver and rider base through return rides 🙏
