I am using a cheap Walmart plan, straight talk. Uses Verizon towers and it's really cheap. It's low priority on the network but since there is no one around, there is no congestion. The same plan in a city would be pretty bad I am guessing

I use an LTE modem and wifi router attached with a couple repeaters. It works pretty well. I don't think it affects my mining in any meaningful way.

I thought there was going to be one single compatible Ark protocol (like Lightning is all compatible).

However, I know of at least two, bark and arkade. These are compatible in the sense that they communicate via the common language of Lightning, but not in the Ark —> Ark wallet sense. Thoughts?

Both implementations use BOLT but like you, I don't think they are compatible in any meaningful way.
