Perhaps no one is using bitcoin as money “because” there is no de minimus exemption.

However, if I am buying a monthly creatine supply with bitcoin, whether by myself or through an agent, I don’t want to have to report 12 capital gains tax transactions to the IRS. Don’t we need a de minimis tax exemption before bitcoin payments become what we think they can become? @Matt Corallo

I really never understood why one would buy MSTR instead of bitcoin. But now perhaps worth it with the company worth less than the bitcoin it holds.
