HELP!! I need someone who's math is better than mine (I can't do any)...lol. Trying to work out a thing. If a creature has lived 2074 years, looks 62, what would be the way to write it? EG: one human ...

@nprofile1q... You have a 1-to-33.45 ratio. Each ~33½ years would be like 1 year to them, assuming they age linearly like a human. Alternatives would be like aging like D&D elves and dwarves where they kind of biologically reach adulthood and then have extended youth and beauty before they start aging again in a linear fashion*, or aging to adulthood quickly and then effectively enjoying it until old age kicks in like most animals.

*For elves, they reach 20 and then get until 200 before it catches up, with 200 being considered a full adult and live to 1000. Same for dwarves, but they're considered full adults at 50 and live to 500.

Something that bothers me about Wolverine:

Marvel: "Yes, he's short and incredibly hairy."

Also Marvel: *casts a tall guy and draws him, like, unremarkably hairy, and barely hairy at all in the cartoon because lines=money*

Me: "Did you forget... what normal male body hair looks like? Does everyone else just wax or what? Is the Marvel universe just afflicted with neck-down alopecia? Why did you cast a 6-foot actor? Bless the man, but, like, his whole thing is Little Dog Syndrome."

@nprofile1q... OMG, this. No concept of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," cooperation stops abruptly at socialism, never reaches liberals. No concept of tactical voting or fighting when things are even slightly left of center. No, it's all about the Glorious Revolution™ rather than pushing the Overton Window back left. Freaking cosplayers.

@nprofile1q... WEBP and WEBM will never die because Google has monopolized the Web and Google does what's good for Google.

I mean it's all smoke and mirrors because it offloads everything it saves in transfer to decompression on the CPU, but people don't have CPU caps and placebo effect.

APNG is widely supported now, though. I use it for all my animated images because it's actually smaller as soon as you introduce transparency. And it fails gracefully to PNG using the first frame. Also decode is fast because it piggybacks PNG handling.
