In this case, as I already said in our more direct conversation, I think the bad just massively outweighs the good.

I don't really care about wrestling but it's nice that she's so enthusiastic about it, and I'd definitely rather have her rant at me about it than spend time 'talking' to an LLM. :P

@nprofile1q... Fair, that is pretty bad for the environment, and also probably your wallet. Still, it's on a pretty different level.

LLMs have so many negatives, beyond just the environmental, which is already pretty bad, and the advantages seem miniscule. The scales tip too far to one side to consider it worth it.

I dunno, 'annoying' friends and family with something you're enthusiastic about seems more healthy and wholesome to me.

In the end, of course, you have to make your own choice.

And yes, politicians are always a sucky choice because it seems impossible to find one that only supports what you support.

But that doesn't mean we can't still reject some things. We don't need to accept the bad with the good about everything. Do you really lose so much by just not using LLMs anymore?

And I just mean... you tend to have those takes where you seem to not really want to take a firm stance. Like here, you admit many of the bad points of LLMs, but still don't consider that much of a mark against it, or a reason to more firmly oppose it.

I like your stuff, and I generally like what you say, but you have those incredibly milquetoast takes on some things...

And without it hallucinating a summary you would also go into those sources less biased.
