But be fair, it's been almost eleven years – barely over 20GB a year.

@nprofile1q... Just select everything on your desktop and move it into a folder named "Old Desktop". Repeat every few months. Eventually the subfolders will be nested so deeply, you'll forget they are even there! :)

On the long-anticipated final episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, his last-ever guest, Paul McCartney, used some of his interview time to point out that he hates iPhone updates because the functionality of the device he bought is changed out from under him! Seems he's not a fan of iOS 26. He said that he "gave out" to Tim Cook when he met him at Apple Park last month, letting him know that he wasn't happy about it. Talk about a high-profile issue.

@nprofile1q... You can replace "Files" in that URL with several other words... so far I've found "Devices", "Sound", "Text", "Networking", "Processes"
"sit", the modern Unix-based StuffIt archive creation tool, has been updated with a few bug fixes:
- better support for special characters, so you can include "Work ƒ" or "Project.π" or "Business®App™" and preserve those names when expanding.
- names containing a slash could not be expanded on classic Mac OS
- never overwrite an existing file; if "archive.sit" exists then create "archive-1.sit" instead, and so on.
