yeah, desktop nostr is in a sad state unfortunately technically there's nosmero, but that's monero zaps, not bitcoin/lightning

on amethyst you can pick between public, private, and anonymous zaps there's even an option to do lightning only (non-zap) i'm not sure of it's current desktop status though
