@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... tariffs are a tax payed by the importer and eventually the buyer, what you are suggesting is another tax on people from the EU to subsidize the Chinese exporters (+ maybe a mild disincentive to buy chinese products, some of which don't have proper European alternatives)

After messing with C++ and cmake for quite some time now, there I was, still very naively thinking:
I know, I'll create a new project using both modules and reflection with g++-16 and cmake 4.2 and it will work out of the box and I'll finally have some fun 🤦♂️
oh, well ... it's either writing a lot of cmake crap assembling the correct set of options and building my own module std or it's back to headers.

@nprofile1q... around here, we've been dealing with Orban for ~25 years, I remember the day he first won the election and I'll definitely will be happy (if) he's gone, but the new guy has still been in Orban's Fidesz party like 2 years ago and I heard him say some pretty stupid nationalistic shit. He's just a "pro-west" nationalist.

@nprofile1q... you are forgetting all the economic benefits of US imperialism. Until recently gas prices in the US for example were just a fraction of what the rest of the world has had to pay.
Even in 2002 when I visited the US for the first time I hitchhiked a lot and many people complained that prices like $1.40/gallon were getting unreasonably high, at the same time back in my home country the price was ~1.20-1.30EUR per *liter*.
