@nprofile1q... in fact #CableTheft at #DeutscheBahn is so rampant that they nowadays #DNA-marker the cable jackets and #Isotope-marker the #Copper in it (like #Euro|cent coins because they exceed their material value and the ECB &) DB wants to prevent people from just melting them and selling it ot to scrap merchants.

in fact many #CableThieves got arrested at scrap dealers when they tried to sell the stolen cables to said scrapyard as the operators called the police when they found out.
