Yes, it's entirely possible. The thing is: While yes, the fediverse is "federated", you are still using an account on someone else's server and are entirely dependent on them "playing by the rules".

While yes, more acceptance of Bitcoin is good, we shouldn't forget that - regardless if it's Trump or Putin - they are still politicians who are only interested in power and ruling over the people.
