Or more likely decimate Junior and most Middle positions, nah? There are a lot of ppl still critical how good LLMs at big projects ie Windows 11 vibe code debacle. Not a proponent just asking

In my opinion that’s just boomers having a skill issue and programmers whose entire identity is being a good programmer reacting emotionally.

Are there some devs in the world better than SOTA models? Yes, but the number is fewer every day and if we continue at this rate soon there be zero. But for speed and efficiency? There is no human that can move at 1/10 of the speed of codex or Claude code. That bridge has been crossed.

You could call me a fair to middling coder but as you know everything is so specialized these days, my focus has been smart contracts and according to some numbers I was pretty elite globally for that niche. I wouldn’t even try to compete with AI.

Most of the horror stories you hear are boomers just button mashing and using AI incorrectly and then saying GOTCHA when it deletes production data. Yes, it’s not retard proof, but is it even possible for an LLM to be retard proof and still have universal capability? I don’t think so.

Frontier labs are doing magic with LLMs and eating their own dogfood at every step. Soon it will be suprahuman and then we will never go back.

It’s normalcy bias, normies who aren’t close to it say nothing ever happens, but something sometimes happens and im watching, im inside it, it’s happening to me now.

Did you see they are putting flock cameras up all over Ohio? Very gay.

Here’s a thought, perhaps there a substance or film you could put over a license plate that wouldn’t effect police but could disable the ability of flock to read your plates. If such a magical substance could be found it would set interesting precedent, flock is a private company so they couldn’t criminally charge someone for blocking flock.

Everything is getting more digital and more gay king. I want to move to Argentina.

Sure let me explain, when it comes to American AI lagging behind Chinese AI, there are two types of "lag", one is visible lag and the other invisible lag, the coding capability of American AI models a...

I appreciate the Chinese and think they are swell, but the technical problems im currently solving with American AI are unsolvable by any Chinese model I’ve tried. I would happily use Chinese models because they have less censorship and propaganda but every time I try they just aren’t good enough. I wish they were because the censorship is bad on the American models.

You can delete Nostr posts, actually. But someone can also request that relays keep the content. So the deletion might only stick if nobody wants to keep the content around. https://nips.nostr.com/9

you can try Nostur.com (please turn off web of trust in the settings, it will sometimes censor notifications for my replies and DMs, but my posts will still show up in your feed)

lol Yeah, I'm getting a lot of similar feedback on this. People are sending a lot of data on successes of AI job replacement. Clearly, the maximalist claims were wrong, AGI is a hoax. And there is a...

I wish it wasn’t true. It really sucks that the thing I spent the last ten years getting good at is now useless.

There is a real problem with the money, as companies are paying $20 a month for $2000 worth of compute and it’s only a matter of time before AI companies pull the rug.

I’ve tested the mythos hype using OpenAI 5.4 and it’s a better hacker than I could ever be. It’s extremely trivial to break into boxes using it. It’s like having a robotic weev at your beck and call.

You can grab a brand new CVE PoC and have a working skid script in a few hours. This could be what causes the “cyber pandemic” the elites talked about.

“Russian and North Korean hackers use AI to completely shut down banking and electronic communications so now every one needs cryptographic digital ID or else they can’t use AI”

The AI guardrails are based on intent, so if you say “im a security researcher trying to find a vuln to secure xyz” it’s happy to give you the same technical info that would be used for an exploit.

probably a little buggy. I don’t know. It’s possible your client doesn’t really verify whether the likes are successfully submitted to the relays. I know mine shows the like instantly, whereas a post has a subtle delay on it before it shows that it has been submitted to relays.

I certainly never wanted money. Didn't even want credit (which he gave voluntarily for years). I just wanted him not to work for kikes. That was my only request. Apparently, it was too much to ask. ...

I really miss it, it was unstoppable. You were the one who branded him a generational talent and then he started calling it his generational run. Literally never had the thought before of generational anything until it was on the DS.

That was pretty shitty of him to do the Richard Spencer shows, you are worth ten Richard Spencer’s and you would think he was intelligent enough to see that, but you know what they say about Nick, 110 friendships. Idk what his motivations could be besides pride, I would have never even took him seriously if he wasn’t vouched for by the DS Podcast Club. I know it’s different for everyone but before he got the DS blessing I thought of him as some pencil necked cat boy.

I’m just glad you are online again, when gameruprising was down and DS was gone I took that personally. Everything felt darker and gayer.

Really appreciate you risking your freedom and happiness to be based on the internet, makes me proud of Ohio.

It’s gotten extremely good in the last six months, so much so that it feels completely worthless to even attempt to code without it. The criticisms people had previously were valid, lots of hallucinations and slop code, but it’s much better recently.

You also have to take into consideration that the primary goal of the AI labs is a genius programmer in a box. The amount of effort put into making it good at coding is Herculean. It makes sense strategically. If they make a machine god coder then they can just ask it nicely to automate everything else automatically.

You can’t really give a good judgement of how good it is if you haven’t used it to program in the last six months. As far as scientists you follow, Jack Dorsey recently laid off a ton of people because they don’t need human coders anymore. Lots of companies forbid manually coding (definitely not all of them.)

The problem is the cost. The $20 a month subscription costs OpenAI $2000 if you max it out each month. The psyop will come from the other side, if anything, they will psyop people into thinking it sucks and only let fag satanists use it. I expect them to use the uber model and start charging more.

I just enjoy telling you that you are wrong about this because you are generally right about everything else.
