I think it is incredibly important that people writing software, not those using it, take the time to realise that permissive licenses are what is referred to in the open-source world as "Cuck licenses". The reason for this is that you write code for free, you do it out of passion etc. and then right at the end you go ahead and give it away.

Your code has no legal guarantee to remain open-source once some individual or company comes along and makes changes to it and incorporates it into their product.

The LGPL is one of my favourite licenses. It's good for the open-source community and even good for proprietary business.

The reason other licenses are "Cuck" licenses are because the copyright owner (remember open source IS copyright) voluntarily give up their code to very permissive (Cuck) terms.

At the end of the day it is your choice, but a word of warning - you have zero legal grounds to sue if they use your code - you let them.
