Spent the afternoon and evening working on getting 4 jails running including scripting all the Bastille templates so the jails could be reprovisioned at any time. Nullfs mounting the data is such a cool trick.

FreeBSD 15.1 is great to work with and ZFS is just an amazing filesystem.

It's early days, but I will be moving some hosting from 1 shared Linux host, 3 Debian 11 VPSes to a single FreeBSD VPS with Jails.

Not my personal hosting or my $day_job hosting either.

I'm so excited to be working on this. It's going to be so much faster and work better.

What sort of evil Windows admin blocks http authentication in all Edge browsers at their company? Seems like such a stupid thing to do especially if people need to test web sites on non-production web sites that require http auth.

Can someone explain to me the rationale behind this?

(and yes the sites are behind HTTPS not HTTP)
