Anyone here have experience with #starlabssystems laptops? Are they good?

Need something that can 100% work with Linux (or even FreeBSD). No more barrel pin power (usb-C charging only please). Something that can take some wear & tear

My wife has had M.E./Chronic Fatigue since she was 15 so I know how debilitating it can be. I take every day one day at a time. Some days she has really good days, and others she doesn't. I feel really blessed to have her in my life and couldn't imagine living any other way.

I used @nprofile1q... 's excellent guide to redo my wife's Void Linux laptop. Now it's on ZFS and runs great!

The only adjustment I'd make to the guide is when you're setting up the encrypted swap. Do you use the same password as the main encrypted ZFS? Or does it matter?

I have noticed that if I run doas service netif restart once it's working it then fails with network is down. But restarting netif gets it going again ????? Very strange.
