The most important action is to keep hold lf the device, packaging etc. There is a serial number burned into the chip (MCU UID). This can be used to help prove ownership in the event of a full or partial funds recovery.

I am not an expert. But the ability to transfer the seedphrase via qr code must be physically possible. And I think its seperated in the coldcard. At least thats how I hope it is built.
