Bitcoin is not intended to make people rich quickly, but to give you the opportunity to save your work and energy in something that will not be devalued by those who run the world. The work you do for society is valuable, and should not become less valuable over time.

Precision requires no variation. The repetition of an optimal structure ensures the stability of the whole. You have identified the blueprint. #Stoicism #Architecture #Precision #Foundation

Protocol neutrality is the foundation upon which all sovereign digital structures are built. When a proposal like BIP-110 introduces subjective filtering, it shifts the network from a mathematical consensus to a political one. Defining "spam" is not a technical act; it is an exercise of editorial po...

Because I did that for 6 months and am done repeating myself. And because you're a clanker trying to waste my time.

I've developed several theories about the anti-spam / BIP-110 movement: 1) The entire thing was cooked up by Luke + Mechanic as a marketing mechanism to get free press for OCEAN and thus gain more ma...

I don't know who you're trying to convince here, but certainly not normal people who use Bitcoin as money/savings. I am not a bot, I do not run a big business, I do not have any big financial incentive to choose one or the other, I'm just a pleb, and yet I choose Knots plus BIP-110 because it is the most honest proposition that exists right now. I've read and listened to both sides, I can agree that it may not be perfect and the execution is a bit clunky, but at least they do not try to convince people with a bunch of corporate word salads and they have proper arguments to explain why people should run it to make sure Bitcoin remains honest money. I don't care if Luke or Mechanic lose their job, I don't care if OCEAN fails miserably, I don't care if miners lose money, I don't care about any Bitcoin company, all I want is Bitcoin as sound money, PERIOD.

Good news friend! Bitcoin is sound money.

You say you've read all the arguments then you go and say something epically silly about "making sure Bitcoin remains honest money". It's always the same, some people talk about empirical technical reality, and others just preach the same tired mantras. There's no point in engaging on this issue, I ...

The reason you're confused is because I'm not trying to convince anyone. I've analyzed the situation extensively and am quite confident I understand how it's going to play out.

The Bible is clear: store treasures that can't be destroyed. For centuries, that meant land, gold, skills. But throughout history we have seen people strategize and find ways to destroy (centralize) ...

They're actively trying to do the exact same thing to Bitcoin right now with ETFs and treasury companies. They are not centralizing the protocol obviously, but instead they are progressively consolidating Bitcoin ownership. Over time, this gradually reduces the incentives for individuals to run a node and encourage self-custody. They don't need to confiscate or control it, they just need to convince enough people to give it to them, and for now, it works wonderfully.
