As the initial charm has faded, belief in Nostr diminishes gradually. On one hand, this protocol offers the opportunity to establish one's own community, free from censorship, and more. On the other hand, within the core community upon which this is all built, issues that compromise the entire structure are already being carefully avoided to be brought into light. Twitter is dead, long live Nostr. That could very much be the future. Decentralization, praised by many, is not necessarily something that will ensure something; it can also become a tool in achieving other goals.

Well-known Twitter ostriches with blue checkmarks send those billions a message: 'Say Nostr, be Twitter.' That doesn't not lead to a dystopian scenario, but I can see how even a dystopian scenario wins in such a comparison.

It's interesting to consider whether Benjamin Franklin, if he were our contemporary, would still utter "25"? Would he adjust this threshold downward or upward?
