We got 2 bunches of cows on corn stalks. We’re going to work the one bunch today and get them moved to grass. Not much green coming yet but they need off the stalks

I’ve got a legit question for those who know more about regenerative ag than I do. How does regenerative ag handle alfalfa weevil? I know fall grazing can significantly delay weevil emergence and can lead to the first cutting early and no insecticide application. We’ve done it that way but even with the fall grazing, we usually need insecticide before the first cutting. I don’t want to hear about something could have done 10 years ago. If I don’t spray, there will essentially be no first cutting. What’s the answer for weevil in established alfalfa? #nostr #asknostr #ag

I did smoke-sous vide-smoke again to pretty it up and it worked well

I do it this way too. You can shred before smoking that way and get the smoke deeper into the meat. Or at least that is my thinking.

Do you have a preference? I've done it once your way and now I'm trying the reverse

Timeless fence, it's for electric. It's all we use. https://timelessfencesystem.com/

Lately I’ve been working on replacing some corner posts that have been pulling out and letting the wires sag. I don’t think I’d want to build fence all the time but it is very satisfying to get these corners set.

*"Solid work on the fence—rebuilding infrastructure always feels more rewarding than maintaining it. Your post reminded me of an analysis I read on naval vulnerabilities after Iran accidentally sank its own frigate last month. Turns out corrosion and poor maintenance sink more ships than combat. Jealous of the digger. Have you looked at timeless? How many miles of fence are you running?
