I think blocking and camera movement is way more important than framing. Really unusual framing comes across as tryhard and takes me out of the immersion of the movie.
Positive reinforcement is a good thing, no? I doubt the Catholic church will ever come close to balancing out its past misdeeds but that doesn't mean we can't encourage good behaviour.
