I think the vast majority of bitcoiners are in full agreement.
The next question is: to what extent is a given proposal able to reduce / eliminate the non pristine use cases in a net positive way?
That deeply technical question is above my pay grade.
What’s frustrating me is the ad hominem arguments,condescension and snark from both sides (but moreso the core side).
Roger was more polite, but technically wrong. A lot of the developers seem more lefty than I am (possibly) but that doesn’t make them wrong (or right).
The extremes on Both sides seem like whiners to me.
