I've held signs at protests, but I think humanity is at the point where all future revolutions will be technological. It's almost not even worth trying unless you're building something.
People want an alternative. We just have to build it.
Since using an e-ink screen I've found that I need a light theme for EVERYTHING. But some pages are only in dark mode. There are plugins that force dark mode but yet to find one for light mode lol.

how's writing code on it?
Depends on the project. Some gui stuff doesn't render very well unless it has like a high contrast theme. Doing stuff with nvim and general cli/tui stuff is very nice though.
