Well said Mr Dailo.

“Though not yet fully realized, it is also increasingly being realized that the United States' role as the world's biggest consumer of manufactured goods and greatest producer of debt assets to finance its over-consumption is unsustainable, so assuming that one can sell and lend to the U.S. and get paid back with hard (i.e. not devalued) dollars on their U.S. debt holdings is naive thinking, so other plans have to be made. “

I’ve seen a number of posts and comments from bitcoiners about the EU’s plan to confiscate citizen’s savings. This is totally false. What it shows is how people with audiences are parroting stuff they have heard without spending 60 seconds to find the truth. It also shows how fast the false narrative can spread.

It also causes a loss in confidence in all their messages.

And for those that post enraged comments, remember, don’t trust, verify.

Oh come on!!!!!

In what world is the EU going to confiscating personal savings?!? This talk is classic attempts to try to increase engagement with false attention grabbing headlines.

The proposal is to offer people simple and tax advantaged investments as an option for them to put their money. Targeted of course to areas that they deem warrant additional capital.

Let’s get better at being factual.

Sounds like NZ prices! Will be interested in any results. I’ve on and off thought about this, but mainly come to the conclusion that you are better with a heat pump or wood fire and use the solar savings to buy more sats rather than mine them etc.

But of course there is the adding to the decentralisation argument.

It would be nice to see something that allows mining that financially makes sense in high cost power regions, but I haven’t seen any ideas that do for now.

If you do it purely for profit home mining is not an option, unless you have access to real cheop energy (<$0.0.6 or so). You also have to invest in equipment and who knows how much it will generate per kWh within one or two years? Could be more if btc price appreciates, but also could be less if in...

The argument for open source voting machines is valid, but to link this to rigged elections is a step too far. No doubt thousands of voters will use this as an excuse when the vote doesn't go their way next week!!

Samples are taken, the results audited. This isn't rigging. Yes, maybe it could be more transparent in how the code works, but if anybody thinks the the Electoral Boards use counting machines with no checks and balances, then they should do more research.

Chemtrails forcing votes one way is another story (hahahahahaha).
