Draft:
Nature and humans intertwine—
We build, we create, and we expand our presence.

Pachamama weeps in silence, not with sharp rebuke—
for her nature is to give, endlessly.

While some turn a blind eye, others feel the weight of our greed—
leeching from her bounty.

A tide of feeling rises;
I can only speak for me.

I hold no grand solution,
only my waking awareness.

I root into the earth, hearing birdsong and breathing the salty breath of the sea.

I whisper “I’m sorry” to the wind’s tendrils, and peace settles within me—
knowing we all will return to dust.

Yes, they will attempt to tokenize everything, EVERYTHING! “Every Breath You Take” (Sting) is, to this day, still perceived to be a love song. However, the lyrics are actually spoken from a chara...

Always have loved this song…even with the creepy vibe. But, now it takes on a whole new meaning with the pace of how fast we are losing our autonomy….

So, in the spiral I fall deeper;
reaching out I grab a root.

Hanging on tight;
I hear the birds and
smell the ocean.

No solid answers or solutions.
In these fleeting moments, I feel peace.

Back into dust we all go. 🍃✨

"And suddenly the last Sunday of the year arrived, and you turn back and realize that this year was a little bit of everything; it was goodbyes but also seeing people arrive that you did not expect to make your heart happy; it was moments where you did not know what was coming, where there was no desire for anything and then realizing that you went ahead; it was having a thousand plans and that they did not come true but also that a thousand beautiful things happened to you that you did not expect.
The last Sunday of the year came and I think it's fair to thank you for everything, for what made you happy but also for what broke you, for what went well and also for what you had to understand that it was not for you, for what is being left behind and also for what is coming.
The last Sunday came and I think it's the best time to let go, to make room for the future and to be at peace with this year that goes by."

Emmanuel Zavala really called us out with this one. Honestly, most of my "thousand plans" for the year ended up looking like a screen full of 404 errors and abandoned repos, but I guess that’s just life’s way of force-quitting the scripts that weren't working anyway. 🎸 If this year "broke" us...
