I like how simple and clean the middle one looks. Says it's for 12 year olds, but my wife is a high level chef that doesn't like numbers. She just looks at relative volumes.

However I often think about how my heirs can be incentivized to earn their inheritance when I'm gone.

I suppose an executor could execute, but I would like to impact future generations.

Imagine my son receives a monthly allowance. Income bucket shown full day 1. The app tracks his purchases or monthly expenses as pouring into other defined expense buckets. Ie. Fuel, eating out, clothes. Etc. Visually tracks emptying his income bucket into expenses. Each family member could sync our apps together to visualize family expenses and cash flows. Our credit card apps track and categorize in a pie chart monthly showing spending, however the pie chart is poor animation for kids and doesn't incorporate income, budgeting and savings. Maybe something exists, but I haven't found it through basic budget app searches. Two main purposes are to visually track and visualize budgeting as well as training family members to participate in financial planning. Ie saving for goals, investing..... eventually Bitcoin😎

Can you build a family budget app next? Looking for something with simple bucket flow graphics to help wife and kids visualize and be educated on what a Starbucks a day does to the big picture.

Very interesting thought. I was discussing something similar this morning with my wife. How do we direct, influence, incentivize, support our heirs when we are gone. Free capital is a double edged sword. They need to earn their inheritance through work, creating, purpose and giving. Our kids know our minds, however our goal is to positively impact future generations as inevitably the message is lost over time. The Bible is the best resource we have as a cautionary tale. I pray we can pass these lessons down in an accelerating post truth world.
