It’s kind of crazy that people are spending so much effort trying to enforce a change to a label instead of actually improving things that matter.

I’ve found it necessary to ask very specific questions regarding atomic pieces of functionality; “write a typescript function that does X.” And then a few follow up iterations usually gets me within spitting distance of what I’m looking for.

Obsidian really is the best option. You can sync with a private git repo but IMO paying for sync is money well spent, the product works perfectly.

Zen has really improved lately I can’t recommend it highly enough.

And that’s not to say it can’t be useful in learning skills, but the onus is on the user to develop their understanding of the subject matter.

Yes agreed, but engineers who develop an over reliance on these tools will dull their skills and understanding of their product. IMO there’s a difference between using AI to streamline your core competencies and using it instead of learning a skill.
