I'm reading @nprofile1q... 's Trust In The Forgotten. I'm usually able to read a chapter during my lunch break, but work is hectic lately and some days my mind is too scattered to read, so the going is slower than I'd like, but I'm enjoying it.

I used to think of wholesome as something your church-going grandmother could read/watch without being offended.

I think the term is coming to mean something different, at least among people I tend to interact with. I'm not quite sure how to define it, but I don't think it means G-rated. I think wholesome recognizes the inherent goodness in people, and that can come in many forms. It doesn't mean a lack of sexual content, or seeing the world through rose-colored lenses. I think it's about recognizing all the bad in the world and still trying hard to make it a better place. That definition feels inadequate, but it's the best I can come up with at the moment.
