I have a random question. Some of you may know the answer. Why is it that when I see anime nerds discussing translations of anime/manga they use the term "localization" and not "translation"? Are they just trying to be fancy, or is there a valid reason?

It's been way too long without a #CrowUpdate. It's partly because I didn't take any good pictures this past few days, and also because I'm trying to make sense of the situation, but I can't.
The "situation" is the crow war that's been happening. Almost every morning, I'm awaken by large-billed crows cawing around my house and in the park. Basically every morning, there is some trouble. Now, I'm more and more convinced that they're not attacking "my" crows, but ‡️
