@nprofile1q... Great video, (unfortunately) this is where we are heading. Which shouldn't come as a surprise, Linux is big business. The percentage of 'real' users is still around 1.8 to 2%, the rest is gamers using SteamOS, not Linux users. And they are also looking for this 'convenience', reinforcing this push. Technologically I find this exciting (you know), but I am sure my capability to build my own bootc image will soon disappear. Good there is still a lot of non-systemd choice, and for my private use case I could switch to FreeBSD. Which makes me wonder why I didn't yet 😎
