@nprofile1q... I found The Bookstore of Hope. Part one feels so much of the drab and harsh and exhaustion I know too well that I feared it would continue hardening and draining, but part two made it wonderful. Strengthened life, as if it formed a root that flowered into a new reality.

Can we please start treating AI companies as threat actors?

Statt Leute im Bürgergeld ständig zu überwachen, könnten die dafür nötigen Leute besser zur Überwachung von Betrieben und zum Kampf gegen Steuerhinterziehung genutzt werden (was teils das gleiche Problem ist: große Teile der Steuerhinterziehung kommen durch Schwarzarbeit).

Ein konkreter erster Schritt, wenn Du daran etwas ändern willst und nicht in einer Gewerkschaft bist:

Tritt einer der größeren Gewerkschaften bei. Fast egal, welcher (schau vielleicht vorher, ob ihr vorgeworfen wird, im Dienst der Arbeitgeber die andere Gewerkschaft auszuhebeln).

Und wenn im Betrieb etwas sehr fishy wirkt, nimm die *kostenlose Rechtsberatung* der Gewerkschaft in Anspruch.

Dann weißt du, was dir zusteht.

@nprofile1q... wow, that’s quite crazy. I didn’t expect that a game that has something which seems like Braille to the Braille-illiterate on the packaging would fail to also consider accessibility for the actual game.

Feels like a false promise, the kind that leaves readers disappointed when they reach the end and don’t find the answer they were promised at the beginning.

A trap for well-meaning people.
