Every video by @nprofile1q... is good, but I particularly enjoyed this one as someone who has always tinkered with all sound alerts available to me - on phones or computers or in games (who else preferred the B music on OG Gameboy Tetris?).

The old Nokias used to have some great ring tones that would start subtly, like a coupe of beeps, then more beeps, until the tune began in earnest. Discreet mode was also just a button press or two away.
