@nprofile1q... It is Mac desktop only. It does transcription, and you can run custom AI commands on top of the transcription based on rules (like when writing an email, use a cleanup prompt).

I also use VoiceNotes, which is great for on-the-go recording. VoiceInk is more useful for the ad hoc work at the desktop.

I am using VoiceInk for a few weeks & am impressed. It uses local AI models to transcribe. Accuracy is good, & it has bells & whistles.

Currently available for $19.99 for a lifetime license. Significantly cheaper than its competitors.

One thing I like is that I can use it to transcribe into a Windows remote desktop session (I work on a Mac, remoted desktop to Windows). I was unable to get its competitors to do this.

Dev is updating it weekly. It is also open-source.

@nprofile1q..., I'm just playing with that part of it this morning, and it does. The Kanban is based on the current state of a task, and supports filtering based on priority and context.

The calendar view is also very nice, supporting day, week, and month with drag-and-drop support.

I am very excited about the TaskNotes plugin for Obsidian. It is a very well-done concept. It creates a note for a task, using properties. However, it has inline widgets that allow tasks to be inserted inline in notes and render like a task.

Essentially, it provides the benefit of organizing tasks within notes, but with each task being a unique file (and combined with the new bases feature, this is a game-changer).

My plan is to use it to simulate Evernote's notes filters. Since all my notes have the same proprieties, I'll ...

I'm reading The Bullet Journal Method by Ryder Carroll.

I am conducting a personal experiment (hybrid) where I keep a daily log on paper, and all other aspects are digital. So far, it is going well.

Ryder's book is a masterpiece.
