I agree, but the flip side I observed is that I remember vibe code "lessons" much less well than those I learned struggling the old fashioned way.

I think it makes sense to "debate"/counter opposing views, not necessarily to change the other person's mind (especially if they are not arguing in good faith), but for the benefit of third parties reading the conversation, some of whom while making up their own minds about the topic under discussion.

I see what you're saying, but I don't think the idea of celebrating failure is that absurd, because having failed means you've put yourself in a position where failure is even possible. If failure is not possible, neither is success. So if you want success, risk failure, and if you experience failure, "celebrate" (i.e. cope) and restart.
