it’s sometimes better to cancel your pour if your not 100% ready. once those trucks start showing up, they have to dump out. but the ramifications of pouring without all the proper utilities, rebar or block outs in place can cause further damages to the check book and reputation

I've built with insulated concrete forms a number of times. But I'd like to shy away from the foam portion. Even concrete has its drawbacks. As we know, just got to plan those RO's

i’ve heard that icf is used in hurricane and tornado prone areas. a lot more durable than the tradition stick and frame but harder to modify anything after it’s set and cured. interested to see electricable bills for those homes.
