I self-host Netbird. It was kind of a pain to get going, but I’ve had it running for years. It’s great! It’s just like TailScale but you can host everything yourself.

OpnSense is underrated, imo. I’ve been upgrading the same little fanless firewall box for years with no issues, and it has every practically networking feature you could ever need.

I randomly chose the first 23 words and used the mnemonic python library to generate the 8 valid 24-word seed phrases. An LLM could write a script that does this for you, if you don’t code. Only takes a few lines. I still tested every wallet I used by opening it in sparrow, and doing a small, air-gapped transaction. Lmk if I can help with anything.

Realistically, “all of the above” fits better for me. 😂

For the record, I was already going to buy The Stolgard Incident audiobook at some point, but this post convinced me to do it right now, on the spot! I’ve heard you (@Lyn Alden) and @walker talk about it in podcasts, and I can’t wait to get started. 😀

Not sure what @Guy Swann is thinking, but the fact that all this oil has been, and seems like it will continue to be offline, is why I think the bottom might NOT be in yet. I’m not really making a call, I just DCA no matter what, but that’s what I’m keeping my eye on, right now. I agree what we’re seeing does look like some “bottom is in” behavior, but like Guy said, I feel like there’s a 50/50 chance global economic turmoil brings lots of things back down, Bitcoin included.

So, when does it arrive?

Something about switching to neovim changed everything about how I used computer. I don’t even really use a file manager anymore. Watch out, though! The next thing you know, you’ll be spending tens of hours per week, working on your riced-out hyprland config. You’ve been warned. 😇😈
