hey! WIthout yet looking... the one thing that was SO HARD was how to get a TOTAL noob onto Nostr. I mean compare it to installing X on a phone.

Has that improved much? So assume the noob is not literate with computers much more than using a browser or installing an app.

Unfortunately the decentralised part of it MEANS they have to get to grips with keys... that is a tough ask for anyone new to decentralisation and even for some non-noobs! 🗡️

"hey you have to pay to read, BUT after reading you will be given the option to get the sats back"

I think it's one thing to read something FOR FREE but another to demand money back for an article you considered worthy...

Another option might be for you to read something and realize you’ve actually gained something from it and then give a little bit back. If you found it worthless then move on.

Many, perhaps even most, will take advantage and consume/enjoy content without giving back, like you said you would selfishly do. But in the end that’s ok because there are enough people who aren’t selfish and who realize that life is not a free ride for anyone and they usually end up supporting...

That was one great stream! The MSTR part was instructive. Didn't QUITE see eye-to-eye on USA being the land of the free, but I'll give Jack a pass on that (good to be patriotic).

If the USA takes the first step I sure as hell hope my country follows suit because we ALWAYS loved the separation of state and money and only gave up on that right at the behest of... the U.S.!

I detract. It was a great stream!! I didn't realise that MSTR is leveraged Bitcoin, that is quite O.G. of Saylor, gotta say.

Right... back to watching the last part of it. Thanks for spending time. Might try and log in next time and bug you with important questions! :D
