I’ve come to *love* Jason Slaughter’s take-no-prisoners approach to advocating for cities that are human-focused rather than car-focused. This video of his is yet another that shows what can happen when caring about people is a priority.

In October 2019, te same month I started Not Just Bikes on YouTube, Amsterdam published the document "Agenda Amsterdam Autoluw", a plan to make the city (nearly) car-free. So, seven years later, what did they actually accomplish? Did they do what they said they would do? https: Show more

I hadn’t been to Siêu Thi Bên Thành in Kitchener yet this year, and the weather was perfect to ride down. I love the selection of Asian groceries. Another shopper saw me looking a little confused in the noodle aisle, and she kindly directed me to the cooler where there were fresh noodles to choose from.

Small moments of joy and human connection are the best 😀🚴‍♀️❤️

One of my *all-time* favourite local events is happening in Waterloo on Sunday June 14. The Grand Porch Party returns for its annual celebration of music and arts! There's nothing quite like a leisurely walk around an urban residential neighbourhood, listening to wonderful musical performances. Highly recommended!
