There's a Sameko Saba pop-up event in Japan I was thinking of stopping in at in a couple weeks, but now I'm finding out she's been AWOL for almost 3 months so now I don't know if I even ought to bother...

I recommended "Idols of Ash" before, and I recommend it even more after playing it more. Clearing the base game unlocks "Nightmare Mode" (the monster is faster, there are no save points) which makes for an incredibly thrilling and challenging playthrough.

If you beat that, you get "First Kiln Mode", which is a whole bonus level that's even more brutally challenging than the base game. For the price of entry, it's a hell of a game.
