Follow-up on the monero.jobs situation, I finally saw a job there I'd be interested in taking, and any attempt to submit a proposal is met with a very unhelpful "Something went wrong, please try again" error message every time I try. Desktop, mobile, doesn't matter.
This isn't ancillary functions or window dressing, this is core functionality... if people can't even make proposals and take job offers, what the fuck is even the point here? I'm beginning to see why it hasn't managed to take off, it doesn't even work on a very basic level.
Worst part is, it won't even let me contact the client account directly. Clients don't have profile pages like freelancers, so I can't try to contact the client out of band to pick up their job offer. What a fucking mess.

For anybody who tried (probably unsuccessfully) to tune into the stream tonight, I apologize for the dogshit experience. I have no idea how to even begin diagnosing what went wrong, but I hope this doesn't repeat itself next week.
Disconnecting from the VPN, restarting OBS, everything short of actually rebooting the damn PC did nothing, it just kept dropping the connection every 5 to 10 minutes. A server restart on the PeerTube VPS might have fixed the issue, I don't know, I wasn't in the mood to try frankly. I just hope this doesn't repeat itself.

Having played through a large chunk of it since the stream, I'd like to add that it's actually refreshing to have a HL2-style/inspired game where the player character is not at the center of everything happening, and just incidentally observes it all in passing while running for her life.
Like, there's a whole rebellion story happening in the background, the separatists nuke the NWO Central Bank mid-level, Space NATO is laser bombarding the outlying regions of the city in retaliation, and the protagonist is just constantly running away from shit happening, it's actually a little refreshing.
It would have been really easy to do the Gordon Freeman thing, "wow who are you stranger? I guess you're the figurehead of our rebellion now, help us storm the evil fortress kthx" and they didn't. So, props to them for that.
On the other hand, jesus christ if you're going to make me crouch-crawl through vents for 75% of the game make crouch speed go faster than snail's fuck please. I have to bunny hop through vents like a retard to go at anything approaching a brisk pace.
