I want to make a film called Searching for Andrew Anglin about a young gen alpha content-creator, whose father is a virulent boomer philosemite, who launches a far-right antisemitic daily news site, inspired by the legend of the reclusive Anglin, and searching for the Anglin within himself, while trying to avoid the seemingly inevitable descent into madness. There are, of course, dramatic twists and turns along the way, such as his expulsion from 5th grade for using a baby Hitler photo as his graduation picture, and his boomer father's journey alongside his son, eventually shedding his extreme philosemitism, but never being able to muster anything more than a feeling of ambivalence regarding the Jewish question. That's the basic premise. I have no filmmaking experience, so I would probably just supply the initial "based on a story by," which I've just done.
