In my opinion Worldcup is a distraction for pleb while government is pushing laws for more surveillance, more control or better deals and more profit for the big companies to have even more monopoly in the market.

Thats the issue i have with Bitcoin community. No one is talking about governments all over the world going into total surveillance mode. Forcing Digital ID to access Internet,our medical papers , driving licenses ,banking system building fudation for cbdc thwt will be connected to digital ID, US building camersa all over the ppace with face recognition and AI algorithm -we are stepping into the most horrifying dystopian total control future. While bip -110 soft fork is important, how can we use bitcoin in the first place after all those government surveillance implementation?

But to use bitcoin we need Internet connection. We already see government closing access to Internet bycreating laws that are implementing digital ID for Internet access. I dont see anyone twlking about it in bitcoin community. And this is one of the bigest theat for our freedom.

Check btcmaps.org and see if there are any merchants in your area that accept bitcoin. Many have been onboarded recently.
If you spend and replace it helps the network grow.
I dont think that most places that are on btcmaps actually accept Bitcoin, i was trying to reach few in germany that are on btc map and they dont respond when asked about Bitcoin payment :(

that's a never ending fight with becouse the system itself is broken- goverment that is suppose to be for us, is against. Big Private corporation are lobbing laws and PMs to vote for them - this is insane. I cant comprehend how anyone can belive this has anything to do with democracy.

Love this book ! Even if you are not interested in bitcoin its eyes opening how the financial system work and how its designed to screw us. The history of world economysic - gold standard, austrian school of economics - all that written in a easy to understand language.
