@Lyn Alden's view that money is a ledger. a ledger is an abstract representation. the moneyness of anything is ultimately subjective. Without goods and services money does not exist because there would be no value for money to represent. However, goods and services do exist without money (i’m not arguing with the necessity of money). The fact that money has properties like time value does not mean that it’s not abstract. The fact that we use concrete things as money does not mean that money is not abstract. I think Elon is correct.
