There's a work around I saw some where about changing the URL it tries to access.

Spray common names around in text messages to 100,000 people, and one of them is going to sound really close to true, by sheer chance. I'm not in GB but if I'm sending to a uk phone number, I'd use things like London and common uk banking brands, right?

@nprofile1q... This does seem to work to export passwords after a quick test. Unfortunately(?) the AV detects it as password exfiltration when it runs. Which to be fair it is.

Still looking for a fix to the blank wallet page so users can continue to use passwords managed by Edge.

Here's a nasty #askfedi #sysadmin #windows #edge support question....

Have a bunch of desktops using Edge built in password manager, without ever having an MS account.

In the past month edge://settings/passwords was removed and now there's edge://settings/profiles/passwords

But the new page is blank...

Edge still knows the passwords - you can navigate to a site and it will autofill

Everything online is all about sync and MS accounts.
