If someone wants to move to live here I have no issues with that. Ideally, they try to integrate into society though. If they fuck up while they're here, that's another issue, but only at that point should any action be taken.

Well, there's this paradox there. Lots of people change their behavior because of the surveillance. Doing so also means that they win.

I refuse to let them win (because fuck them), and I don't really care to put in that amount of effort anyway.

I try to be an upstanding human being (by my own standards), and always tell the truth, and in an ideal world I should never have to worry. However, the government and corporations are going to do whatever the fuck they want to do regardless.

Well I have guns, floodlights, and CCTV, so my security's fine.

However I don't trust corporations or the state. Especially when the state has used private corporations as a proxy to get around the Fourth Amendment.

Different people like different things. Saying that everyone prefers one or the other is just painting with a broad brush (and also mayb cope because they can't grow a proper one.)

I don't care, it's a shitty trade-off. I value my privacy more.
