How should OPML Import / Export work for music feeds?
Should we just include all album / artist feeds in the main list with a medium attribute?
Or maybe music feeds should be in a different section?

@nprofile1q... FYI this music feed was marked as spam - https://podcastindex.org/podcast/8007515
I've marked it as legit now - any chance you could add some kind of rule to automatically mark Music Side Project feeds as legit based on the generator tag:
<generator>MSP 2.0 - Music Side Project Studio</generator>

@nprofile1q... very cool!
Here's mine 😁 - looks like it's missing quite a lot of data though - are you pulling from the Fountain Relay because we should have everything going back to when we first started broadcasting boosts on nostr?

C'mon Google, our latest app release has been sitting in your review queue for 5 days now. I miss the old days.
@nprofile1q...
Fountain has been stuck in Android review for 11 days now...
It's crazy how much of a drag this is on productivity - especially when it comes to moving quickly because any bugs introduced cannot be hot-fixed.
Surely Google can just point Gemini at the problem???

All boosts and comments sent from Fountain are published to nostr meaning anyone can query them and build anything using the data.

@nprofile1q... makes sense!
A bit odd when we have these 40MB feeds flying around to keep all that duplication - https://rss.libsyn.com/shows/75518/destinations/334352.xml

Is there any reason that still exists today for RSS feeds to have both the <description> and <content:encoded> tags at the item level?
From my experience there is never any difference between the content in these tags.
Does anyone know of apps / services that have a specific use case for different content in each tag?

Its there now but I saw the artist share the Fountain link a little over 3 hours ago. 🤷♂️

@nprofile1q... this was published via Fountain for Artists - so the Fountain link was available immediately but it might have taken some time for podcastindex to process the feed

I haven’t made a final decision on this - that’s why I’m posting here.
I’m also trying to create less work for myself and simplify the Fountain codebase which will improve other aspects of reliability around music.
I guess my real question is - what are the currently used demu tools and what are their reasons for not supporting publisher feeds?
